Getting away from all the fussy tourists in Venice can be hard, but it's not impossible. Once you start meandering down the narrow streets and less crossed bridges, the city reveals itself peaceful and still. Then you begin to understand that beauty is there, right there in front of you. And then comes the urge for spritz.
